We strengthen our position in the French PV market with 4 new contracts for a total of 41.5 MVA

As a reference market for PV within the EMEA region, we consolidate our commitment to France with a new contract for four PV projects in the country.
We are proud to contribute to the energy transition, helping with the reduction of its CO2 emissions in this country.

We have been awarded with the supply contract for four new projects in France:

• Aéroport de Bourges project located about 150 km south of Paris in the Centre-Val de Loire region (department of Cher, France).
• Montmaur PV plant located about 50 km south of Grenoble in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region
• Zac de Montane plant located 200 km east of Bordeaux in the region of New Aquitaine (department of Corrèze, France).
• Zac de Tieule located in Legion of Languedoc-Roussillon, (department of Lozères) about 120 km north of Montpellier.

Our PV 2X series product family has been chosen for these projects. Gamesa Electric PV 2X inverters, with a market leading efficiency value, will be integrated into our PV 2X series stations.

Zac de Montane and Zac de Tieule projects include PV 2X inverters with an outstanding functionality: an enhanced DC/AC ratio to fulfill over-paneling requirements.

Furthermore, a great list of optionals has been considered to comply with client requirements as well as with the French Network Code and regulations. Among others, a step-up transformer inrush current limiter to comply with the regulations of ENEDIS (the French Medium Voltage network operator).

Last but not least, although the sites environmental conditions are not extreme, the customer specifications required challenging ambient design conditions for both:  inverters (50ºC) and transformers (55ºC)
