We celebrate the 90th anniversary of our plant in Reinosa!

Nine intense decades of technological and social evolution in which the products, tools, industrial processes and context have changed, but one element in common has remained: people have been and are our energy and who give meaning to this historic factory.

Every person who has been part of this legacy has driven our plant towards constant evolution. We want to thank and pay tribute to all the people who, through their work and involvement, made possible such a long journey. The exhibition From Reinosa to the World opened its doors last Saturday, which traces a chronological journey from its foundation on the 18th of July 1930 as CENEMESA,  to the present day in which Reinosa has become a technological center for Electric for the manufacture of products for the generation of renewable, clean and sustainable energies, as part of the global project of Siemens Gamesa group.

In this story, the city of Reinosa plays also an important role. The territory, the economy and the society of the Campoo region are closely linked to the history of our factory and to celebrate our anniversary, we want to share this journey through our past and present with all the citizens of the city. We have captured the history in photos, memories, documents, products and objects through which we hope to make known what has happened in these 90 years at the plant and the future that waits ahead.
