The project Acajutla, in Sonsonate, has a total capacity of 13 MWp and, together with other plants supplied before in the country, will help to generate the electricity equivalent to the average consumption of 100,000 homes.
We have signed a new contract for the supply of equipment for the Acajutla project located in the department of Sonsonate in El Salvador, a country that is receiving important foreign investment in renewable energies. With this PV plant the total power supplied just in El Salvador will be of 62 MWp.
This is not the first time we collaborate with this client in Central America as we worked together previously in Panama, where we supplied a total of 33 MWp in equipment for a total of three projects in that country. This new collaboration is just the sign of the high reliability of both our team and our products and strengthen our already strong presence in Central America.
These plants installed in El Salvador will generate the electricity equivalent to the average consumption of 100,000 households. Also, a donation agreement for the 3% of the total income of these projects have been signed with the Acajutla City Hall. This money will be destined for community development works on the region.
Thanks to everyone who makes this possible.
