Gamesa Electric hydro generators for Damla hydropower plant (43 MW)

We have signed a new contract for the supply of 43 MW for Damla project in Turkey.

The total supply will be of four complete synchronous generators, with two 20 MW generators and two 1,5 MW generators.

This project located in Artvin, in northeastern Turkey, is our first collaboration with this new client.

With 592 MW installed in the previous year, Turkey is the leading country in megawatts installed in Europe and moved up to the fourth place in the world. We are sure this new project will help to increase our presence in this important market.
