Commissioning of the Misenheimer project in the USA

The commissioning of the Misenheimer solar photovoltaic project is progressing according to the plan. The project consists of 21 Gamesa Electric Proteus PV 4500 inverters and is located in the state of North Carolina (USA). The inverters have been installed in a plug & play skid configuration with the transformer and the medium voltage switchgear, simplifying installation and commissioning.

The USA has become the main market for Proteus PV inverters, as their high power, efficiency and reliability make them ideal for the large projects developed in that market. According to Energy Information Agency forecasts, the USA will install a record 34.6 GW of PV during 2024, reaching 54% of all installed capacity this year.
