SMART WIND ESS

The goal of the project is, on one hand, to develop the necessary know-how to dimension the battery-based energy storage systems associated with wind farms, and on the other, to validate a PCS (Power Conversion System - two-way battery charger) on the test bench at a small scale. Project co-financed by the CDTI (Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial, a Public Business Entity dependent on the Ministry of the Economy and Competitivity of the Government of Spain).

CONVERTER FOR MV NETWORKS

The goal of the project is to develop a Medium Voltage converter for wind power and industrial applications. Project co-financed by the CDTI (Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial, a Public Business Entity dependent on the Ministry of the Economy and Competitivity of the Government of Spain) with the support of FEDER.

The goal of the project is to design a hybrid storage system for hybrid power plants (wind + solar + diesel). Project co-financed by the Ministry of the Economy and Competitivity of the Government of Spain, in the RETOS-Colaboración 2015 call for projects.

NEW GENERATOR OF 2,5MW OF POWER

The aim of this project is to develop a new electric generator of 2,5MW to be used in wind power generation and 50Hz grids. The new development will include improvements in the generator cooling and in the slip ring/brushes systems. The project is co-funded by Government of Cantabria in the INNPULSA program, and counts on the European Union ERDF funds.

NEW CYLINDRICAL ROTOR GENERATOR FOR HYDROELECTRIC GENERATION

Gamesa will ss in this project the development of a new electric generator with cylindrical rotor configuration for hydroelectric generation. Thus, the company will obtain a new solution based on cylindrical rotor that will lead an improvement in competitiveness for medium power machines. The project is co-funded by Government of Cantabria in the INNPULSA program, and counts on the European Union ERDF funds

DEVELOPMENT OF A PHOTOVOLTAIC INVERTER OF THE NEW GENERATION OF PANELS OF 1500VDC

The objective of this project, developed during 2016, has been the development of a photovoltaic inverter of high performance, able to work efficiently in photovoltaic panels of 1500VDC. The resulting product is able to reduce the cost per kW of the current systems without penalizing the performance. The project is co-funded by CDTI, and count on the European Union ERDF funds.
