Integrated Solutions with MV output

Gamesa Electric supplies photovoltaic Solar Power Station centers completely integrated within metallic ISO containers or prefabricated buildings, including inverters, LV/MV transformers (both dry and oil type), protection switchgears and accessories - guaranteeing a reliable solution. The Solar Power Stations can be adapted to the needs of different countries, fulfilling their specific normative and standards.

The company offers solutions in standard maritime transport containers, either 20 feet or 40 feet, thereby reducing logistic costs and simplifying customs controls. The components are fully factory assembled and tested (with the quality guaranteed) to minimise final onsite installation work.  Customer only needs to connect the DC input cables into the DC panel on the PV inverters and the AC output cables to the MV protection switchgear

Gamesa Electric's standard Solar Power Stations, both metallic containers or prefabricated enclosures, have the following power levels (other different configurations are available under customer request):

Depending on the configuration of the photovoltaic plant's panels, it is possible to deliver transformers with a single LV winding, by synchronizing the triggering of the inverter’s IGBTs connected to said transformer.


Optionally, the building (either metallic container or prefabricated) and the arrangement of the equipment is configurable, according to the customer's needs. For example, the inverters' DC boards can be separated from the main body of the inverter and placed alongside the DC inputs from the photovoltaic field. The number of DC inputs can also be configured for each inverter.


Metallic solutions are customizable with different levels of thermal insulation, depending upon the level required by the environmental conditions in each particular photovoltaic site.

Gamesa Electric supplies photovoltaic Solar Power Station centers completely integrated within metallic ISO containers (for indoor inverters) or skid-mounted (for outdoor inverters)prefabricated buildings, including inverters, LV/MV transformers (both dry or oil type), protection switchgears and accessories - guaranteeing a reliable solution. The Solar Power Stations can be adapted to the needs of different countries, fulfilling their specific normative and standards.


For US and North American market, the outdoor PV inverters are installed over a skid forming a single transportable block, with maximum dimensions allowed for standard internal logistics in US, where the step-up transformer and medium-voltage switchgear  are replaced by an external, “pad-mounted” type transformer.


These solutions reduce logistic costs and simplify customs controls and at the same time, ease the in-filed final installation. The components are fully factory assembled and tested (with the quality guaranteed) to minimise final onsite installation work.  Customer only needs to connect the DC input cables into the DC panel on the PV inverters and the AC output cables to the MV protection switchgear
