Gamesa Electric has been awarded with the contract for the supply of 8 PV PLUS inverters, of 630 kW unit power, for a photovoltaic plant in UK.
 
This new contract strengthens Gamesa’s position on the development of new PV markets, reinforcing its position as leader on the UK market.
 
The PV PLUS inverters incorporate the CCU Control Board of wind converters. This platform provides an important base to integrate Gamesa’s products in the most strict grid codes and also in the weakest and most problematic grids.
 
With this operation, Gamesa Electric advances in its strategy to introduce new products in new markets.

Gamesa Electric has been awarded with the contract for the supply of two electric generators for RIO ANGOL Project, developed in Chile by the Italian company SCOTTA.

 

The contract is an important milestone for the company starting our hydro sales in Chile, a country with an important potential for hydropower demand.

 

Each generator is rated at 12 MVA, and will be designed and manufactured in Reinosa, for deliveries in December 2013.

Electrobás Termonuclear S/A – ELECTRONUCLEAR certifies that Gamesa Electric has been assessed and meet the requirements of CNEM NN 1.16 – Brazilian Regulatory Body Quality System Norm - Ed 2000, for Design, Manufacturing and Maintenance of Low and Medium Voltage Motors for Angra Nuclear Plants.

 

The certification reinforces the commitment for the company in order to fulfill quality requirements in other demanding markets such as nuclear.

Gamesa Electric has been awarded with the contract for the supply of two electric generators for Guneyyaka Project, developed in Turkey by the company VAPTECH.

 

Gamesa Electric has an important presence in this country, with constant deliveries of equipment for significant projects.

 

Each generator is rated at 3.76 MVA, and will be designed and manufactured in Reinosa, for deliveries in October 2013.

Gamesa Electric has been awarded with the contract for the supply of two electric generators for CIGDEM Project, developed in Turkey by the company VAPTECH.

Gamesa Electric has an important presence in this country, with constant deliveries of equipment for significant projects.

Each generator is rated at 9.8 MVA, and will be designed and manufactured in Reinosa, for deliveris in September 2013.

Gamesa Electric has been awarded with the contract for the supply of 5 PV PLUS inverters, of 630 kW unit power, for a photovoltaic plant in UK .

The contract is an important milestone for the company starting our sales in a new market that is expanding.

Gamesa Electric has been awarded with the contract for the supply of ten electric motors qualified 1E for Almaráz Nuclear Power Plant

This Project is the first contract that includes not only the supply of 1E motors, but also the qualification of the complete fan-motor set. The deliveries of 1E motors need full compliance the strict applicable Nuclear Directives, requiring a full process of qualification and validation.

The ten motors and the necessary prototypes will be designed and manufactured in Reinosa, for deliveries starting in August 2013.

Gamesa Electric has been awarded a contract to supply two power generators for Jamie Creek project, which will be developed in Canada by the company Rainpower.

This project represents another contract awarded to Gamesa Electric in this north-american country, a market with significant growth prospects. Gamesa Electric is currently developing for Rainpower the following projects: Sogutlu & Cakmak, in Turkey, and Usma & Skarg in Norway, and Skookum project also in Canada .

The two-generators, with a power rating of 12.32 MVA each, will be manufactured at Gamesa Electric facilities in Reinosa and delivered from August 2013.
