Gamesa Electric has been awarded with the contract for the supply of the electric generators for the hydropower plant Rio Collil in Chile.

 

The power plant will have an installed power of 8MW, and the GAMESA ELECTRIC delivery includes the supply of two  electric generators rated at 4MVA each, which will be designed and manufactured in Reinosa. The delivery of the equipment is scheduled at January 2014.

 

This project is reinforcing the leadership of GAMESA ELECTRIC in the renewable energy sector, and increasing our presence in Chile, an area with a forecast of increasing energy demand.

13 May 2013

  Gamesa Electric has been awarded with the contract for the supply of the electromechanical equipment for the hydropower plant Delicay Turkey, in partnership with ANDRITZ HYDRO SAS company.

 

The power plant will have an installed power of 44MW, and the GAMESA ELECTRIC delivery includes the supply of four  electric generators, two of them rated at 17.6MVA each, and two more rated at 6.7 MVA each, which will be designed and manufactured in Reinosa.

 

The hydro power plant will be put into commissioning in spring 2014.

  Gamesa Electric has been awarded with the contract for the supply of two electric generators for LA HUACA Project, developed in Panama by the Spanish company VOITH TOLOSA.

 

The contract is an important milestone for the company, it means a new contract in Panama, a country with an important potential for hydropower demand.

 

Each generator is rated at 6.5 MVA, and will be designed and manufactured in Reinosa, for deliveries in October 2013.

Madrid, 26 Febrero de 2013. Gamesa Electric, a worldwide reference in the electrical equipment for the photovoltaic industry, will showcase at the GENERA trade show its portfolio of PV central inverters of 1 MW, 630 kW, 500 kW y 100 kW. These devices are compliant with the most demanding network codes in the World, and they are also valid for connection to weak networks.

The participation of Gamesa Electric in GENERA will be completed with an intervention during the conferences that will take place in parallel to the exhibition. On February, 26, Rubén Sanz, power electronic manager of the company, will be speaking about the solutions offered by Gamesa Electric for connecting to the grid large-scale solar farms.
GENERA, celebrated from February 26 to 28 at IFEMA’s number 5 pavilion, is the main gathering point in Spain for the renewable and efficient energies industry.
