Gamesa Electric has been awarded with the contract for the supply for the three Direct Drive electric generators for the RENACE III Power plant, that the company Andritz will develop in Guatemala.

These low speed generators, scheduled for delivery in Summer 2015, will be the biggest machines designed and manufactured so far in Reinosa. This milestone reinforces the GAMESA ELECTRIC leadership in the power generation market, with more than 1GW in the hydro sector since 2006.

Gamesa Electric has been awarded with the contract for the supply of 8 E-1,4 MVA photovoltaic inverters to Lark Energy, for a 11,2 MVA PV plant in England.

With this operation, Gamesa Electric reinforces its presence in the British PV market, the most important in Europe regarding utility-scale PV plants, and only second to the US, China and India worldwide.

With this contract, Gamesa Electric has accumulated 98MVA in PV inverters purchase orders in 2014.

Gamesa Electric has also sold +83/-48MVAr in Statcom purchase orders in 2014, connected to 270MW wind energy projects.

Gamesa Electric has signed a framework agreement with one of the most important PV customer in UK, British Solar Renewables Limited. Gamesa Electric has been awarded by BR with the third purchase order for the supply of 20 E-1,25 MW photovoltaic inverters totaling 27,4MW of installed power.

With this operation Gamesa Electric reinforces its presence in the British PV market, the most important in Europe regarding utility-scale PV plants, and only second to the US, China and India worldwide.

Gamesa Electric has signed a framework agreement with one of the most important PV customer in UK, British Solar Renewables Limited. Gamesa Electric has been awarded with the second purchase order for the supply of 5 E-1,25 MW photovoltaic inverters.

With this operation, Gamesa Electric reinforces its presence in the British PV market, the most important in Europe regarding utility-scale PV plants, and only second to the US, China and India worldwide.

Gamesa Electric has been awarded with the contract for the supply of the Direct Drive electric generator for the Box Canyon Hydro Power plant in BC Canada, for the BC Hydro company, leader energy company in that area.

The generator, which will be connected to the low speed turbine produced by Rainpower will be designed and manufactured in Reinosa, and delivered in May 2015.

Since 2006, GAMESA ELECTRIC has been developing this market,  with a solid success and partnership with the main players in the sector.

The total power value of the electric generators to be connected to hydroelectric turbines, has reached recently the 1GW figure. The generators are designed and manufactured in GAMESA ELECTRIC Reinosa.

Gamesa Electric has been awarded with the contract for the supply of 2 E-1 MW photovoltaic inverters, for a 2 MW PV plant in Jordan. This is the first utility scale project in this country and our first project with Atersa (Elecnor), one of the most important PV developer.
